The PRR has undergone major revisions for 2009. In addition to the new World Challenge Touring Car rules which have been reworked to cut costs for teams, each section has undergone an extensive review by the SCCA Pro Racing technical department to provide clear and concise language. The book has also been re-sized to a 4.25" by 9" format, making it considerably more portable.
"After years of having language added and removed, the PRR was in need of a thorough reorganizing," SCCA Pro Racing Competition and Technical Director Ken Tripkos said. "For the 2009 edition, our tech department has done an excellent job eradicating duplicate or conflicting language, and has restructured each section, making it easier to find what you are looking for. We feel the book is more cohesive and the new size also makes it more convenient."
The 2009 PRR can be found online at www.sccapro.com. Hard copies will be available in early December.
